Our Staff

Dr. Larson

Dr. Larson grew up in a small town outside of downtown Portland.  He always had a wide range of interests with sports, art, music, science and medicine.  Early job experience included picking strawberries, bucking hay, moving irrigation pipe, mowing lawns and welding.  While at Western Oregon State College (now WOU), he was a teaching assistant, tutored math/Science and worked in the radiology department at Salem hospital.

With both parents and a grandparent in the dental field, Dr. Larson was always around conversations about teeth.  The real love for dentistry developed as he spent more and more time in his mom’s office where she worked for a number of years as a hygienist.  He loved the personal relationships that developed between the long time staff and multiple generations of patients.  With the natural affinity to dentistry, it was only fitting to meet his future wife while in dental school at OHSU.  His wife, Dr. Megan, has her own practice in Salem where she enjoys practicing with her father.

After receiving his Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from OHSU, Dr. Larson spent an additional year as a resident helping Vets at the Portland VA Medical Hospital.  Since completing the hospital based dental residency, he continues to help on his “off days” in the dental clinic.  Responsibilities as an Attending include:  Overseeing/teaching residents, consulting and treating medically compromised patients (head and neck radiation, kidney/liver transplant, heart conditions, etc.)

The Larsons’ have settled in Wilsonville, Oregon where they are raising three very active boys (older two are twins).  Outside of the office, Dr. Larson enjoys coaching his three boys (football, baseball and basketball), camping, playing music and drawing.

Jennie – Dental Hygienist

Jennie loves providing care for the multiple generations of families she has gotten to know over the years. She has worked in the office since she graduated from Portland Community College’s Dental Hygiene Program in 1981. She is the longest standing employee of the practice (Originally working as a dental assistant with Dr.Vaughn Wedeking).

Outside of the office, she enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also likes to travel and work in her garden.

Sandy – Dental Hygienist

Over the years of practicing dental hygiene, Sandy has enjoyed helping to make a difference with our patients and their oral health maintenance. She loves the family friendly, low-stress approach to dentistry that the office provides.

Sandy enjoys her family, grandchildren, the Oregon coast, reading, cooking, dancing, movies and music.

Diane – Dental Hygienist

Diane enjoys working with people and helping individuals achieve their optimal dental health.

She enjoys spending time looking after her three grandchildren.  Her interests include outdoor activities, sports, photography, sewing, ballroom dancing and travel.

Kelle – Front Office

I have been in the dental field since 1976. I enjoy all the wonderful people I have met over the years, watching families grow and hearing the many great stories.  I feel my job is perfect, because I get to do what I do best, talk!

I have been blessed with a wonderful husband of 40+ years, two children, four grandchildren, two dogs and lots of chickens.  I stay busy with gardening, kayaking, scuba diving, and camping with my family.

Jenn – Front Office

I love being able to watch the array of smiles and connect with all sorts of people while I work. Although I consider myself a dental “newbie”, I have been around it my entire life; influenced greatly by my mom who has helped manage dental offices for over 30 years.

My husband and I hail from Bothell, WA and have recently moved to Oregon. We have 2 cats and a Newfoundland “Gus” who keep us busy. I enjoy hiking, reading, cooking, traveling and playing around with our animals.

Jolie–EFDA Dental Assistant

Jolie will most likely have a little smile under her mask because of Dr. Larson’s many cheesy jokes.  She appreciates seeing the multiple generations of families that make up the practice.

In 1997, Jolie got her associates in Technical Arts in Dental Assisting from SPSCC in Olympia Washington.  Jolie loves spending time with her husband and 2 kids, camping and boating.
